SECURITY WORKER, Per Diem position
Schedule:
Per DiemProvide security services organization-wide.
Typical Duties:
Monitor campus access through security gates, and allow access and departure from the campus to authorized personnel/students/visitors
Monitor security cameras
Maintain operation of the security system
Conduct periodic rounds of the BOCES 2 campus to make sure all windows, doors and entrances are secure
Check identification badges and verify and authorize personnel to access the BOCES 2 campus
Investigate disturbances
Attend BOCES 2 safety and security meetings as required
Provide verbal and written reports to BOCES 2 administration as required
Communicate information as necessary to BOCES 2 administration to maintain a safe and secure campus
Respond to security issues on the BOCES 2 campus and off-site, as requested
Serve on the BOCES 2 emergency response team
Other duties as assigned by the Coordinator of Safety and SecurityJob QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent.
Current registration as a Security Guard with the NYS Department of State.
Valid NYS Drivers License.
