Responsibilities:
Measure and inspect first piece, in-process and final inspections on CNC turned, CNC milled, rubber molded and assembly components, recording quality results on inspection plans.
Inspect incoming material and verify certification.
Assist Team members with measuring methods and checks.
Maintain quality standards by following ISO 13485-2016 and Jrlon's Quality Management System.
Job Duties:
Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste.
Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and notifying Supervisor of repairs.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Ensure gages or other measuring equipment are within the stated calibration dates.
Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Overall skills needed to be successful:
Must be proficient in the use of measuring equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, optical comparators, etc.
Qualifications:
Quality inspection experience of 1 to 2 years.
High School diploma.
Further qualifications will be a plus.
Ability to read prints and a working knowledge of various types of measuring equipment.
A keen eye for details and a result-driven approach.
Responsible and trustworthy.
Working knowledge of MS Office.
